A lot of talk recently about the forgotten and discarded objects people find abandoned in the yellowing pages of old books bought from second hand book dealers.
Personally, my concern has never really been the objects I find inserted between the pages of these ancient tomes, but the object I don't find inserted between the pages: and, alas, that missing object is usually page 136.
NB - As fugio points out, it should really be page 135 that is missing ... unless of course, it is a glossy illustration printed on one-sideof the page only.
You have my sympathy. However, I am a little perplexed -- I would have thought that page 135 would be the first omission noticed. Or do you read books from back to front?
