The Grand Ziggurat of Xerxes was three-times larger than the Great Pyramid of Giza, ten-times more inaccessible than Machu Piccu, and a zillion-times more interesting than Mount Rushmore.
For many centuries the local tribe believed that the Grand Ziggurat of Xerxes had been built by a race of giants. Then the local tribe discovered that they themselves were extremely small compared to everybody else, and were consequently forced to come to terms with the fact that the ziggurat had actually been built by a race of merely average stature. At this point the local tribe lost interest and the ziggurat fell into a period of neglect and ruin.
Today the remains of this former wonder of the world house an award-winning multi-story parking lot especially designed for the Zig-Zag Shopping Mall and Entertainment Complex, although some sections of Parking Level B (Red) are still designated as "sacred space," featuring compact car discount coupon machine and access to covered segments of the pedestrian walkway.
