Time's Supersonic Chariot

It is my birthday today. I was going to construct a special secular nativity scene for myself, but unfortunately I sat on all the miniature plastic medical figurines while gluing the clinic room walls together. I suppose I could throw a couple of scale-model members of a T34 tank crew in there as a replacement, but they are more appropriate for delivering a crushing blow to the Panzer Grenadiers than delivering an overdue baby. And besides, I don't think anyone will buy the idea that I was born in a Soviet field hospital on the outskirts of Stalingrad, more's the pity. Never mind, you're only as old as you feel, as they say, and since I feel nothing I guess I shall make a diorama of the gleam in my father's eye instead.
